Trane BAS Operator: Manage HVAC Systems with Ease
Trane BAS Operator is a free Android application designed to help building operators manage their HVAC systems efficiently. The app works with the Trane building automation system controller, Tracer SC version 3.6 and above. Once logged in, users can easily check their building's HVAC system status, make adjustments, and respond to hot/cold calls quickly.
One of the app's best features is its ability to manage alarms. Users can see active and historic alarms in their system, their severity, and what generated the alarms. They can also acknowledge new alarms and add comments for others to see. Additionally, the app helps users keep the alarm log tidy with its delete alarm functionality. The app also allows users to view the status of spaces, equipment, and entire systems with built-in graphics that are easy to read at a glance, including animations. Finally, users can take action by responding to hot/cold calls by adjusting setpoints, overriding equipment, and occupancy.
It is important to note that the BAS Operator remembers the connection information for connected devices, making it very helpful. However, when updating to a new version, users should not uninstall or delete the old version, as doing so will erase the device connection data.
